Navigation Tips
Use Google Maps, not Apple Maps
San Miguel’s cobblestone streets and small alleys can confuse Apple Maps. Google Maps is more accurate for walking, taxis, and finding restaurants or galleries.
Walking
The town is very walkable, but streets are uneven. Comfortable shoes are a must.
Taxis & Rides
Pesos are preferred; you can also request rides through Uber (availability varies).

Getting to & from the Airport
We won't be providing return transportation, but these trusted companies are great options:
Reputable Car services
Getting around
Getting around is as easy as most cities. You can hail a green cab, Order an Uber, Or take a scenic walk around. The town itself is quite small and pretty walkable. There are lots of hills tho, so walking shoes are recommended if you plan on exploring.
Car Rental
We advise against renting a car. We have always booked airport transportation and walked the city or called Ubers when needed. It is the simplest way to enjoy the city without the complications of narrow streets and very limited parking.
